Summary. FiscalEyes is a digital, professional software service consumed on demand. As a general rule, fees paid are non-refundable. This policy explains the limited exceptions and the mandatory statutory rights that remain available.
1. Who we are
FiscalEyes is operated by KONNECTE LTD, a company incorporated in England & Wales, registered office at 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. Billing questions can be directed to billing@fiscaleyes.com.
2. General rule — no refunds
Subscriptions and one-off fees are billed in advance and are strictly non-refundable once paid. This includes (without limitation):
- partially-used subscription periods (monthly or annual);
- unused AI credits, seats, add-ons, or knowledge-base slots;
- fees paid after a trial has converted to a paid subscription;
- fees paid for features you later decide not to use;
- fees paid through third-party resellers, marketplaces or bundles;
- enterprise onboarding, professional services or set-up fees;
- charges incurred because of account misuse, a violation of our Terms of Service, or any chargeback that we successfully dispute.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops the next automatic renewal; it does not trigger a refund of the current billing period, which remains payable in full.
3. Free trial
Where we offer a free trial, you can use the trial for the advertised period. To avoid being charged, you must cancel before the trial ends. Fees incurred after the trial converts are not refundable and are billed at the then-current subscription rate.
4. Digital-content consumer waiver (EU / UK)
Under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the EU Consumer Rights Directive, consumers ordinarily have a 14-day cooling-off period for digital services. By activating your FiscalEyes account and starting to use the Service, you expressly request the immediate supply of digital content and acknowledge that you will lose your right to cancel once performance has begun. This waiver is made with your informed consent and applies to business and consumer users alike where legally permissible.
5. Discretionary refunds
In exceptional cases, and at our sole discretion, we may issue a partial or full refund where all of the following apply:
- the request is made in writing to billing@fiscaleyes.com within 7 calendar days of the charge;
- the account shows no substantive use (at our reasonable judgement — typically no more than de minimis AI credits consumed and no material workspace activity);
- the request is made by the account owner or a person they have designated in writing;
- the charge is not affected by an active chargeback, fraud dispute, or regulatory hold; and
- the refund is not prohibited by sanctions or anti-money-laundering law.
Nothing in this section creates an obligation to refund. A discretionary refund for one request does not create any precedent.
6. Service interruptions
Scheduled maintenance, minor outages and third-party provider incidents do not, by themselves, qualify for a refund. Enterprise customers with a written Service Level Agreement should refer to the credit schedule in that SLA, which is their sole remedy for availability issues.
7. Duplicate or fraudulent charges
If you believe you have been charged in duplicate or that a charge is fraudulent, contact us within 30 days of the statement date at billing@fiscaleyes.com. We investigate such claims in good faith and, where substantiated, refund the duplicate or fraudulent amount via the original payment method.
8. Chargebacks
We consider chargebacks initiated without first contacting us to be a material breach of these Terms. If you file a chargeback in bad faith, we may (a) suspend or terminate your account, (b) recover the disputed amount plus any bank fees, and (c) pursue any other lawful remedy.
9. Taxes
Refunds, where granted, exclude any taxes we have already remitted to tax authorities and that cannot be reclaimed. VAT refunds are subject to applicable EU / UK rules.
10. How refunds are paid
When a refund is granted, we return the amount to the original payment method used for the charge. Refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your card issuer or bank.
11. Statutory rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits or excludes any consumer right that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable mandatory law.
